Ljubljana train station
Ljubljana is easily reachable with bus and train. The train and bus stations are adjacent and located 1,3 km form the hostel. Ljubljana can be reached by train from throughout Slovenia and abroad. The Slovenian railways offer discounts individual and group discounts for yioung travellers. Ljubljana is easily reachable with bus and train. The train and bus stations are adjacent and located 1,3 km form the hostel. Ljubljana can be reached by bus from throughout Slovenia and abroad.
Arriving with your own transportation
The hostel is reachable by car, van or bus. There are up to 30 parking places for cars/vans and up to 2 bus parking places in front of the hostel. The parking is free of charge.
Transporation during the championships
All the participants Will be provided with city bus cards which Will allow them to use public transport to the sports venues. The sports venues are located 750 m from the hostel and 1 bus station away.

Poljane Hostel is open from June 25th to July 31st and from August 19th to September 29th 2014. Poljane Hostel offers visitors (pupils, students, singles, couples and families) nice lodging, good food and pleasant atmosphere during their stay in Ljubljana.A nice staff will do their best to meet your wishes and needs. There are 80 rooms in a hostel with capacity for 240 people, 4 single rooms with a bathroom and a separate apartment with three rooms for six persons. The guests are welcome to use four big classrooms, a computer classrooom, 12 smaller classrooms for small group work, three classrooms for individual work and a recreation hall. Wi-Fi networking covers the whole building and internet service is free.Poljane Hostel welcomes individual guests, participants of seminars and conferences, students of summer schools..., etc. every summer.

The voluntieers recruting Will take place through the informing channels of the University of Ljubljana. We would be happy to host 4 international volunteers.
SIDE-EVENTS
We are planning to organize for the participant a number of side event. Most of them Will be free of charge, others as cheap as possible:
- Ljubljana old town sightseeing:
- Ljubljana brewery visit:
- University of Ljubljana Erasmus program presentation:
- One day Slovenia trip (from Ljubljana to the cost),
- cultural activities (we will offer the possibility to attend a few cultural event),
- sports activities (we will offer the possibility to attend sports matches that will be in Ljubljana at the time),
- party (we will organize a welcome - the day before the day off - and a closing party - the day after the closing ceremony)
